Zhenguang CaiMy research interests include language processing and time perception. My main focus is to investigate how an embodied cognition approach can help us to further understand language production and time perception. To this end, in language production, I investigate how conceptualization makes use of sensorimotor simulation and how such embodied conceptualization drives subsequent linguistic formulation. In time perception, I explore how time interacts with other experiential dimensions such as space and how space-time interaction is modulated by the modality (e.g., visual vs haptic) of perception.
